The Mini Green Power Team

BIG INTERVIEWS

ALEXANDRE JOUANY

Engineer Automatician

“ «Our house is burning and we are looking elsewhere» , said one of our former heads of state.
During my studies, I realized that our generation had great challenges to save our planet. I then followed an Energy and Environment pathway to get an overview of the technologies that are useful for our future. In my previous company, I worked for large energy groups (ABB, Alstom, CEA, Schneider Electric, …). With this experience, I chose in 2016 to try the adventure at Mini Green Power to take charge of the computer development of the automation of biomass plants.
The project that the company offered me corresponded to both my area of expertise, which is LabVIEW development and my personal beliefs. It was a big responsibility at 28 but I do not regret making that choice.
Now, I am at the head of an Automation team, in charge of improving our product and developing new features specific to each customer, to best meet their needs.”
” What I like most about Mini Green Power is to have the feeling of moving forward and being useful, to tell me that I do not turn a blind eye to climate change. I did not want to work on production lines anymore, run after the clock and where the profit was above all priorities.
In our company, Man takes a big place. Everyone is involved on a scale to improve the lives of all colleagues and reduce the energy footprint of our company. I like both autonomy in my work and group work, manage my team and think of ways that I can implement to improve our work.”

JOSEPH BILLAUD

R&D Project Coordinator

” Engineer training in process engineering I chose to do a dissertation in the field of renewable energies and in particular of biomass gasification at CEA LITEN, a major player in R&D in Europe.

I then sought to work in an energy company offering a structure conducive to the rapid emergence of new processes as well as an important responsibility. Mini Green Power offering me this double opportunity allied to a strong human aspect, I decided to come to reinforce the team in 2016 as R&D Project Manager.”

” What I like about us is the dynamism and responsiveness of our organization to the needs of our customers. This allows me to build skills on many technical subjects with a constant operational dimension and a high requirement.

I also appreciate the trust that is given to me and allows me to deploy and grow. There is finally a great team cohesion at Mini Green Power that makes me come every morning with a lot of fun, which is not negligible!”

GILLES GUILLONNEAU

Chief Operating Officer

“I worked in the construction, installation and start-up of water treatment, I also worked in the sale of taps, industrial instrumentation. I arrived at Mini Green Power in November 2015.”

” Implementing installations in green energy is very rewarding for me and gives meaning to my work. This allows me to work with new technologies and at the same time to enrich my knowledge.
I like to share this knowledge with trainees and young people from Mini Green Power. We are a close team, helping each other and sharing our experiences.”
