CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PLANT
A 550 MW thermal demonstrator, coupled to an ORC turbine and fuelled by wood waste, has been operating since 2015 at the company's headquarters in Hyères.
The ecological plus: The ecological and economic impact of the demonstrator
Although it is a demonstrator whose objective is not economic, the mini power plant at
Hyères is of ecological interest (the recycled waste will not be transported or used for other purposes).
The electricity produced is sold back to the grid. It also means
the company to have a neutral overall energy balance, the entire fleet of cars at
function being electrical.
What's more, the waste recycled comes from the region, delivered free of charge by
specialists in the field.
